This is a collector's quality blue zircon, a stone of such incredible depth of color, size, and cut as to make it not just a beautiful item, but a truly rare museum piece. Zircons are a unique natural stone, and are a stone with some of the most double refractivity; meaning every single facet produces two reflections, instead of most stones which will produce only one reflection. Simply put, that feature of zircons makes them super sparkly! This stone is set into a cool yellow gold vintage filigree mounting that we've restored. It has a super 70's vibe with a scalloped edging of gold set amongst a textured frame and multipronged setting for an airier feel on the hand and a bold modernist look.
